To facilitate discussion regarding the extended class nurse (nurse practitioner) scope of practice review, HPRAC has developed the following documents.

This document provides background information on current regulation in Ontario, and on jurisdictions outside of Ontario (Canadian, American and international) and their respective approaches in regulating the practice of nurse practitioners.  Appendices to the main document provide original source legislative and regulatory source materials for reference.
