Don Embuldeniya

Don joined HPRAC in April 2010 from the Health System Planning and Research Branch of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care where he was Acting Manager of the Research Unit. Prior to joining the Ontario Public Service, Don was a researcher with the Canadian Center for Philanthropy (now called Imagine Canada) and United Way Toronto. Don holds a Master of Arts degree in International Development from Clark University, Massachusetts, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University, Toronto. Don is currently completing a PhD in public policy at York University.
Marc Hull Jacquin

Marc joined HPRAC in March 2008 from Accreditation Canada, where he served as Project Manager and Researcher. Marc has worked with the National Research Council, the University of Ottawa and a member of the Senate of Canada. He is fluent in English and French, holds a Master of Arts degree (Anthropology and Sociology) from the University of Ottawa and an Honours Bachelor of Social Science Cum Laude (Sociology and Political Science).
Margaret Drent

Margaret is seconded to HPRAC from the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, where she worked at the Legislative Research Service. Margaret has a Master's in Political Science from York University and degrees in civil and common law from McGill University. She is a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Margaret joined HPRAC in March 2010.
Barb Thompson

Barb's long time service to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care began in 1981. She worked for several departments within the Insurance Division, including the Director's Office, Claims Division and Registration Division (under OHIP), before joining HPRAC's staff in 1993.
